Restaurant Management Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at CEC Entertainment Canada, ULC. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our restaurant by providing exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Coach and train staff to ensure they meet company standards and expectations.
- Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in the food service industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
