Power Plant Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Power Plant Operations Manager to join our team at Pernod Ricard. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating power plant operations and maintenance activities to meet production and plant operations requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Operating Engineer in administering programs involving electrical, mechanical, and repair and maintenance of existing facilities and equipment.
- Implement a complete preventive management system to ensure effective cost management and budget development.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA) and maintain a proactive safety culture.
- Develop and implement site-wide equipment standards for optimal efficiency and compliance.
- Provide training and conduct regular safety meetings to attain safety targets.
- Manage department work schedules, payroll, job administration, time off requests, and employee time & attendance.
- Assign and monitor maintenance projects for employees and ensure compliance with TSSA requirements and certifications.
Requirements
- First-class Power Engineer certificate from the TSSA or equivalent.
- 5+ years of related work experience in power plant operations and maintenance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of computer systems, including JD Edwards, Kronos, and Rockwell DCS Controls.
