As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective human resources strategies that drive business results.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide human resources management services and advice to internal clients and stakeholders to support strategy, planning, and operations.
  • Develop and implement human resources solutions that align with current industry trends and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop their skills, knowledge, and confidence to be influential leaders.
  • Provide leadership advice to assigned client groups on effective and efficient human resources programs.
  • Assume conduct for or assist with employee investigations related to respectful workplace, privacy, and other potential breaches of policy.

**Requirements**

  • 5 years of progressive experience providing generalist human resources management support to management in a unionized environment, preferably in a large multi-enterprise and/or public sector organization.
  • Experience working in the health sector is an asset.
  • Undergraduate degree in human resources or a relevant discipline combined with a post-graduate certificate in human resources management from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Chartered Professional Human Resources designation with current membership in good standing or equivalent is preferred.
  • Certifications in project management, human resources, change management, and quality processes are assets.
  • Must have a valid Manitoba driver's license.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities as described in the framework, including a passion for customer service.
  • Ability to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings and to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10 kg.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands, with dedicated and focused time for planning and concentration.
  • Use of a personal motor vehicle may be required for regular travel within the province.
