Job Title: Human Resources Consultant

At WRHA Corporate, we are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide expert advice and guidance to internal clients and stakeholders on human resources management services and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide human resources management services and advice to internal clients and stakeholders to support strategy, planning, and operations.
  • Develop and implement effective human resources programs and initiatives to drive business results.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop their skills, knowledge, and confidence to be influential leaders.
  • Provide leadership advice to assigned client groups on all areas of human resources, including labour and employee relations, recruitment, succession planning, employee development, performance management, employee engagement, and recognition.
  • Assume conduct for, or assist with, employee investigations related to respectful workplace, privacy, and other potential breaches of policy.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of progressive experience providing generalist human resources management support to management in a unionized environment, preferably in a large multi-enterprise and/or public sector organization.
  • Undergraduate degree in human resources or a relevant discipline combined with a post-graduate certificate in human resources management from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Chartered Professional Human Resources designation with current membership in good standing or equivalent is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including a passion for customer service.
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10 kg.
  • Use of a personal motor vehicle may be required for regular travel within the province.
