About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Human Resources team and contribute to the development of our people and culture. As a strategic partner to our leadership team, you'll provide advice and counsel on all aspects of human resources, including talent and workforce management, leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build Relationships – Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement people and culture strategies that support Payworks' strategic initiatives.
  2. Analyze & Empathize – Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees on employee relations matters, providing guidance to resolve conflicts and disciplinary issues.
  3. Influence & Innovate – Facilitate discussions around change and transformation, identifying when change management will be needed and developing plans that demonstrate a deep understanding of employment law.

Requirements
  1. Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. CPHR/CHRP Candidate designation or having a strong desire to obtain the CPHR certification is preferred.
  3. 5+ years of progressive HR experience in an advisory capacity within a multi-department organization.
  4. Bilingual in French and English would be considered an asset.
  5. Knowledge of functional human resources disciplines, including talent acquisition, learning and development, HR planning, performance management, and compensation and benefits.
