About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing clients with physiotherapy-related concerns, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing treatment services using physiotherapy techniques or modalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and evaluate physiotherapy/occupational therapy assistants as necessary
- Assess clients with physiotherapy-related concerns, such as decreased mobility, transfer concerns, range of motion, strength, balance, pain control
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical records, observation, or referral
- Provide treatment services for clients using physiotherapy techniques or modalities
- Evaluate the progress of clients in relation to physiotherapy treatment provided
- Instruct clients in the care and use of wheelchairs, braces, canes, and prosthetic devices
- Maintain an inventory of physiotherapy equipment and supplies
- Prepare progress reports, funding requests, and statistical reports relating to physiotherapy treatment program and client needs
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master of Science in Physiotherapy, current registration with the provincial College of Physiotherapists, and a minimum of two years clinical experience. Previous experience in rehabilitation and geriatrics is preferred, as well as previous supervisory experience.
