Mintu Electronics Inc. is seeking an Office Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office operations, including sending and receiving messages, performing basic bookkeeping tasks, and preparing invoices and bank deposits.
The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role. They will be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook, and have strong communication and organizational skills.
The Office Support Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. They will be responsible for maintaining inventory, preparing and monitoring contracts and budgets, and providing customer service.
The successful candidate will also participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people, and will develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Send and receive messages
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
- Prepare invoices and bank deposits
- Maintain inventory
- Prepare and monitor contracts and budgets
- Provide customer service
The Office Support Specialist will work 35 hours per week and will be required to have a strong understanding of cultural competency and awareness training.
