Job Summary

The Administrative Support Specialist will provide clerical and administrative support functions for all staff and clients who receive services from Prairie Mountain Health. This role is an integral part of the Healthcare Team and performs all duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision, Values, Policies and Procedures of Prairie Mountain Health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare procedure schedules based on booking information and appropriate resources.
  • Utilize block booking guidelines to schedule physician's procedures.
  • Effectively communicate with the hospital team, patients, families, and visitors through written, oral, and telephone communication.
  • Promote and maintain good public relations between the hospital, patients, families, and visitors.
  • Recognize and respond to the need for continuous learning and personal development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
