About The Homesteader Dining Room

We are a reputable restaurant seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement new menu items and specials
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ordering of ingredients and supplies
    • Monitor and control food costs
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure high-quality food presentation and service
    • Respond to customer complaints and feedback
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Environment
    • Restaurant setting
