Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at The Homesteader Dining Room. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our guests.
Responsibilities:- Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our guests.
- Culinary Team Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and optimize ordering.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure dishes meet our high standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Certifications: Food safety certifications and any other relevant certifications.
The Homesteader Dining Room is a fast-paced restaurant environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As an Executive Chef, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
