About the Role:

The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for setting the vision, mission, values, and strategic plans for the organization. You will provide leadership to advance our goals and objectives, foster a culture of professionalism, integrity, and collaboration, and ensure effective governance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Governance: Lead the organization, maintaining open communication with the Board of Directors, ensuring compliance with fiduciary responsibilities, and establishing effective succession plans.
  2. Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the Board and staff to develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy, establish key performance indicators, and track progress towards strategic objectives.
  3. Business Financial and Risk Management: Establish operational excellence, create robust financial plans, review and analyze financial performance metrics, and maintain robust risk management systems.
  4. Health and Safety Excellence: Foster a culture of safety excellence, integrating health and safety initiatives into our overall strategic goals and objectives.
  5. Community Contribution: Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion, provide value as a contributing corporate citizen, and communicate our value to shareholders.
Requirements:
  • Baccalaureate degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years' experience as a CEO and/or Executive level position, leading a complex organization, ideally in the resource sector.
  • MBA in Business or related program (preferred).
  • Experience leading large organizational, operational, or systems change initiatives.
Estimated Salary:

$130,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
