With over 50 years of experience in producing exceptional live theatre and delivering robust educational and community outreach programs, WCT is seeking an experienced Executive Director to join its team.


Salary


The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.


Job Description


As a key member of WCT's leadership team, the Executive Director will be responsible for leading and managing the administrative and business operations of the organization. This includes overseeing organizational finances, business development, facility management, and the Kamloops Live Box Office.


The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of inclusive, strategic leadership and collaboration, with a strong ability to build positive relationships with staff, artists, Board members, audiences, donors, and community members.


Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, the candidate will require:



  2. A minimum of five years of senior management experience in a producing theatre organization or a multi-faceted, complex organization;
  3. Experience in theatre facilities management is an asset;
  4. An understanding of digital and social media as they relate to marketing and communications;
  5. Proven success in fundraising, including individual giving, foundations, corporate sponsorships, and government funding;
  6. Demonstrated understanding of and proven commitment to the values of equity, inclusion, and diversity;
  7. A strong talent manager who invests in skill building, celebrates success, and is an approachable coach and mentor.
