We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Associate to join our team at Shared Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the Nurses Recruitment and Retention Fund requests, ensuring timely responses and processing of required payments. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the Nurses Recruitment and Retention Fund requests, ensuring timely responses and processing of required payments.
- Ensure clear data tracking and reporting processes are in place.
- Respond to all inquiries from applicants, Finance, and NRRF Administrators.
- Provide overall support to the Employee Development and Retention Centre of Expertise (COE) as required.
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in an administrative support position required, with HR experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with setting up spreadsheets and databases as required.
- Must have demonstrated experience in a customer service role, effectively handling a variety of inquiries and communicating with all levels of staff and the public.
- Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required.
- Business Administration diploma/certificate, or Human Resources Management certificate or an equivalent combination of education and working experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal (verbal and written) skills.
- Must have demonstrated problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the initiative to follow through on matters independently.
- Must be able to work effectively under stress and meet deadlines.
- Independent decision-making and judgment required.
- Must be well organized and able to establish priorities to meet deadlines and adjust priorities to reflect changing requirements.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
