Banquet Event Coordinator

At Westwood Plateau, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Supervisor to join our team. As a Banquet Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of events and providing exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and manage banquet events, including setup, service, and breakdown.
- Supervise and train banquet staff to ensure excellent service and high-quality food presentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Monitor and control event budgets, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve banquet operations and increase revenue.
- Previous experience in banquet and/or restaurant supervision in a hotel and/or restaurant setting.
- Serving It Right license is mandatory, and Foodsafe certification is an asset.
- Reliable transportation is required, as public transit is limited in the area.
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, including one weekend day (Friday-Sunday).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be 18+ years old due to alcohol service requirements.
