Banquet Event Coordinator

Westwood Plateau is seeking a highly skilled Banquet Supervisor to join our team. As a Banquet Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events in our banquet department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage banquet events, including weddings, birthdays, and corporate functions.
- Supervise and train banquet staff to ensure exceptional service and attention to detail.
- Develop and implement event plans, including menu selection, decor, and logistics.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food service.
- Manage event budgets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in banquet and/or restaurant supervision.
- Serving It Right license and Foodsafe certification.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, including weekends.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
