About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Breezy Corners. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Cost Management: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Menu Planning: Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and execute menus that meet our quality standards and cater to diverse customer needs.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they are equipped to prepare and present high-quality dishes.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and arrange for equipment purchases and repairs to maintain a well-stocked and efficient kitchen.
  • Customer Service: Prepare and present dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food meets our quality standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and team player.
