Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Water Management Project Coordinator to manage and develop projects for several small to medium water and wastewater treatment facilities. As the key client contact, you will be responsible for creating and monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.

This hybrid position requires regular office work with the option to work remotely up to 2 – 3 days per week. You must be able to commute to the Stoney Creek or Ottawa office a minimum of 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, coordinate, and manage daily operations and additional services with site Supervisors and Operators.
  • Manage client relationships and sustain clients' expectations by developing and maintaining good working relationships through regular communication.
  • Monitor and manage site contracts and service agreements to ensure adherence to terms and conditions and lead contract renewals.
  • Create purchase orders (PO), place orders, coordinate with analytical laboratories and contractors to manage services, equipment repairs, upgrades, sampling, and process troubleshooting.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have at least five years of experience in the water and wastewater management field. You should have knowledge of various Ontario drinking water and wastewater regulations.

Experience in managing operational teams and budgets is essential. You must be capable of prioritizing tasks and taking appropriate actions to address client and/or project team issues within difficult time constraints.

You will be responsible for identifying, suggesting, and implementing solutions to issues and challenges encountered at client sites.

A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills is required, as well as the ability to convey technical information in a clear and concise manner.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Teams, is necessary. A valid G2 driver's license and clean driving record are also required.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills are essential to prioritize work and meet deadlines despite frequent interruptions.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 CAD, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer group benefits, including Health, Dental, Life Insurance, and Vision coverage from date of hire.
