Your Role

As a Senior Project Manager for our Federal Business Unit, you'll lead major capital building and infrastructure projects, acting as a trusted advisor to our clients and representing their interests at all times to multiple stakeholders.

You will take a client-centric approach to project delivery, ensuring that your expertise in construction methodologies, project management models, financial management, building codes, contract law, and relevant legislation is utilized effectively.

The successful candidate will have experience managing complex projects in the public sector, with a strong understanding of various project management tools, including Microsoft Projects, MS Word, MS Excel, and other software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and manage complex major capital projects varying in size and scope in the public sector relating to educational, municipal, or other institutional buildings, facilities, and essential infrastructure.
  2. Manage various project stakeholders from public and private sectors to represent their best interests regarding contractual and technical issues, manage change, and resolve issues.
  3. Formulate and manage project plans by defining deliverables, identifying and procuring necessary resources, identifying key milestones, and reviewing project progress.
  4. Prepare project progress reports on project status, project schedules, project expenditures, and impending actions.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • 7-10 years of experience in project management.
  • Project management experience within the Federal Government is preferred.
  • Exceptional business writing ability and previous experience writing business cases considered an asset.
  • Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word), and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications.
  • Must hold or be eligible for Federal Government security clearance at the Secret level.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
