Radiological Technologist 3 Senior Clinical Instructor

About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiological Technologist 3 to join our team as a Clinical Instructor at Vancouver Coastal Health.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate training activities for radiology students and staff within a designated modality in Medical Imaging.
- Instruct students and staff in technical and diagnostic procedures.
- Implement an evaluation system to assess student and staff progress during clinical training.
- Act as a liaison between academic institutions and departmental personnel.
- Maintain training records and manuals, and perform technical functions as required.
Qualifications
- Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- A minimum of five years' recent experience in a related clinical role, including one year in a supervisory or teaching capacity, supplemented by successful completion of recognized clinical instruction courses.
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of theory and practice for the designated medical imaging modality, including applicable procedures and processes.
- Demonstrated knowledge and practice of safe work procedures with medical imaging equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, medical personnel, and students.
- Demonstrated ability to develop training materials, exams, and assignments.
- Demonstrated ability to teach and train staff and students.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and work independently and collaboratively.
