Enterprise Sales Account Executive

About the Role
Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Leader to drive the adoption of our cloud services within our Enterprise segment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for accelerating the growth of our cloud business by developing and executing a strategic plan to drive revenue and customer adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster the adoption of the complete set of AWS services among a group of customers that meet operational or specific business needs.
- Responsible for a mixed territory between customers who already have cloud revenue and others who are not yet customers with AWS.
- Exceed annual revenue and customer acquisition goals.
- Develop an integrated marketing team in a highly complex environment.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan oriented to the company's operations that is linked to the financial growth of the client.
- Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional ecosystems and partners to expand reach and foster adoption.
- Build and leverage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to further promote the adoption of AWS services in the marketplace.
- Support all AWS operational speeds and represent a detailed view of the three or four main customers as well as a consolidated view and plan of the territory.
- Lead a customer-centric business that delights our customers and builds an exceptional relationship of trust.
Requirements
- More than 10 years of experience in technology-related sales management and field operations, working for a software or cloud solutions vendor, leading teams that sell to Fortune 2000 accounts.
- More than 7 years of experience managing sales organizations with revenues of at least $200M+.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills, in French and English.
- Due to the nature of the role that requires interaction with other Amazon entities globally and with Amazon employees and stakeholders in other provinces in Canada, bilingualism French and English is required for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
- A track record of developing sustainable new business.
- An extensive customer network.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
