Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Strategist to join our Alumni and Development Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in advancing SAIT's strategic priorities through the development and implementation of innovative fundraising strategies.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in business, marketing, communications, or related field, with a minimum post-secondary diploma and relevant work experience. A post-secondary degree and previous post-secondary work experience are preferred. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with donors, alumni, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and Solicit Donors

Identify, cultivate, and solicit leadership giving prospects and donors to support SAIT's strategic priorities.

Develop Fundraising Strategies

Design and implement effective fundraising strategies to meet SAIT's goals, including developing proposals, presentations, and other communications materials.

Manage Donor Relationships

Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, alumni, and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and their interests are aligned with SAIT's goals.

Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Diploma

A minimum post-secondary diploma in business, marketing, communications, or related field.

Work Experience

Relevant work experience, preferably in a fundraising or development role.

Skills and Qualifications
  • English Fluency

Excellent written and spoken English language skills.

Fundraising Database Systems

Familiarity with fundraising database systems and spreadsheet applications.

What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits and perks package, including health & dental care, pension plan, vacation & special leave, and flexible work options.
