We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Management Expert with extensive knowledge of Mass Timber Construction to create curriculum for Continuing Education. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry standards, requirements, and best practices in construction management.

About the Role

This is a remote work opportunity that requires collaboration with a Product Strategist and Instructional Designer at SAIT. As a Construction Management Expert, you will be responsible for creating and reviewing course materials, including assessments, engaging activities, resources, and slides for Mass Timber Construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create Course Schedule, Course Outline, Course Description, Assessments, Engaging Activities, Resources and Slides for Mass Timber Construction.
  • Evaluate student competencies and ensure course materials promote learning.
  • Ensure course materials are current, relevant, and deliver quality learning experiences.
  • Align content with industry standards, requirements, and best practices.
  • Define accurate, clear, specific, relevant learning outcomes for the course.
  • Update other pertinent information, including required learning materials, software, technology, assessments, modules.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in Construction Management and Mass Timber Products and Construction.
  • First-hand knowledge of what employers and industry seek or need in terms of course competencies.
  • Relevant field experience within the last six months.
  • Maintain reliability and accountability to timelines and project milestones.
  • Fluent in English reading and vocabulary.
  • Team player – easy to collaborate and work with.
  • 2 years of experience in training or teaching is an asset, preferably in Construction Management.
  • Experience and fluency with Office 365 (MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
