About the Role

The Regional Director of Event Sales is a key leadership position at Auberge du Pommier, responsible for driving sales growth and managing a team of event specialists. This role requires a unique blend of sales and people management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of event specialists to achieve individual and team sales targets
  • Develop and execute aggressive sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with HR and other teams to support hiring and training initiatives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted sales efforts
  • Act as a liaison between event specialists and operating departments to ensure seamless execution
  • Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction, and implement improvements to exceed expectations
  • Contribute to the development of menus and promotional calendars to drive sales growth

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of event sales experience with a proven track record of sales growth and team leadership
  • Advanced written and spoken French
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, and coach on selling to maximize revenue
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to work independently
  • College or University graduate in a hospitality-related program
  • Knowledge of menu development and event planning
