Health Emergency Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Health Emergency Management Specialist to join our team at Health Careers in Sask. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong expertise in developing, coordinating, and implementing emergency management programs.
**About the Role:**
The successful candidate will serve as a provincial resource, providing expertise in all aspects of Health Emergency Management (HEM). They will be responsible for ensuring emergency plans are developed, implemented, maintained, and exercised in all facilities to meet current standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and manage emergency management programs* Ensure compliance with current HEM standards* Provide expertise and guidance to stakeholders* Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HEM planning tools and responses* Advise on best practices for HEM policies and procedures* Contribute to exceptional communication activities* Liaise with government agencies* Manage and maintain accurate records and reports
**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* 3 years of experience in developing and managing emergency management programs* A degree or diploma in Emergency and Disaster Management, Incident Command Systems* Valid Class 5 driver's license* Ability to travel within Saskatchewan
**What We Offer:**
