We are seeking a skilled Clinical Coordinator Specialist to join our team at the Urgent Care Centre in Regina. This role plays a vital part in providing complex screening, assessment, and case coordination services to clients with mental health and addiction issues.

About the Role

The Clinical Coordinator Specialist will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in crisis or requiring assistance. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and cultural competency.

Responsibilities

">

This is a part-time temporary position, working 7 shifts of 8 hours per week. The incumbent will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Providing consultation and coordination of services, including prioritizing and referring to community agencies;">
  • Evaluating clinical interventions, supervision, and professional education regarding mental health issues and resources;">
  • Developing and maintaining community mental health and addiction treatment programs;">
  • Providing crisis intervention, support, assessment, and follow-up plans to clients in the community;">
  • Assisting in the stabilization and transition of acute patients from UCC to hospital/detox or alternative settings;">
  • FOLLOWING UP with brief intervention/support, referral to appropriate community organizations, or collaboration with existing supportive networks;">
  • Preventing ongoing or future crises through effective service provision;">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • A recognized degree in nursing, social work, or addiction counseling, with current practicing registration with their professional association;">
  • Minimum 2 years post-graduate work experience in community mental health/addiction services;">
  • Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and communication skills;">
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Services Act and Health Information Protection Act, as well as other relevant legislation;">
  • Ability to prepare reports in a clear, concise, and timely manner;">
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and developing consulting relationships in interagency programs;">
  • Ability to manage a complex caseload with multiple demands;">
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, weekends, and statistics;">

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $39.658 to $48.494 per hour, commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off and opportunities for professional development.
