About the Role

Calian is a leading provider of healthcare services to the Canadian Armed Forces, and we are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing psychological assessment and treatment services to military personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing psycho-diagnostic assessments with adults, including differential diagnosis, using evidence-based practice such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and trauma processing therapies.
  • Administering diagnostic tests, interpreting results, and preparing psychological evaluations for military personnel.
  • Reporting results and interpretations to the multidisciplinary team, contributing to case reviews, and assisting in the development of mental health programming.
Requirements

We are looking for a registered Psychologist with a degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited University by the Canadian Psychological Association or American Psychological Association. You will have at least 2 years of full-time, post-graduate experience, under a license for autonomous practice, within the last 5 years, completing psycho-diagnostic assessments and providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and trauma processing therapy (CPT, EMDR, or CPT) for adults with PTSD, anxiety, mood disorders, and other various mental health illnesses.

What We Offer

This position offers a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
