About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Email Developer to join our in-house Digital Team at Recipe Unlimited Corporation. As an Email Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing front-end email marketing campaigns for our diverse portfolio of restaurants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mobile-first email marketing templates from scratch for Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Exact Target)
  • Use email pre-deployment platform Email on Acid to QA email campaigns
  • Use Movable Ink platform to create and QA interactive email content such as scratch-to-reveal, countdown timers, live polling, & more
  • Act as internal accessibility, mobile-responsive, responsive design expert, guiding graphic designers on email best-practices
  • Make recommendations to our internal Brand Marketing teams to increase campaign click-through-rates and conversions based on A/B testing different design styles, CTAs, content, etc.
  • Maintain positive relationships between Brand Marketers, graphic designers and web developers
  • Stay up to date on email marketing trends, best-practices, and technologies
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Graphic or Web Design, Visual Communications, or Computer Science is an asset
  • 2+ years of experience with front-end email development and QA testing
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS and media queries
  • Proficiency in writing programming code, either from scratch or by adapting existing HTML code and graphic packages
  • Deep understanding of accessible, mobile-first, responsive design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver or other visual design tools
  • Bonus points for experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Exact Target) and AMPscript
  • Bonus points for experience with email pre-deployment platforms like Email on Acid
  • Bonus points for experience with interactive content personalization platforms like Movable Ink
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently in a structured team without close supervision
  • Passionate and self-motivated, looking for ways to bring email concepts and development to new heights
