About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Lake Louise Alpine Centre. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase local and seasonal ingredients
    • Work with our culinary team to prepare and cook meals that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Kitchen Management
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service
    • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize resources
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food meets our high standards
    • Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate our culinary team to achieve exceptional results
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary education in culinary arts or a related field
    • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven track record of success in menu planning, kitchen management, and team leadership
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and sanitation
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
