Proposal Manager

Valard Construction LP is seeking a highly skilled Proposal Manager to join their team. As a key member of the Valard Group of Companies, the Proposal Manager will be responsible for the creation and oversight of the Proposal Department, ensuring consistency of process, quality, and content across all RFx submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update Proposal Department procedures and processes to ensure efficient flow-through from opportunity identification to project award.
- Provide planning and leadership to the Proposal Department to ensure all appropriate structures, systems, and competencies are followed to meet objectives.
- Develop and build effective working relationships with clients, other departments, and sister organizations.
- Review incoming requests and prepare Daily Opportunities listings.
- Manage and train Proposal Department personnel, overseeing daily activities and assignments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Marketing, Communications, or relevant previous Post-Secondary education and experience.
- 5+ years of Proposal-related experience, with 5-7 years of Management and Marketing/Sales experience.
- Project Management experience and/or training is an asset.
- Supply Chain Management experience and/or training an asset.
