Job Summary



  • Lead high-performing teams of Operations Managers, Service Delivery Managers, Trainers, and Compliance Officers to drive operational excellence and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Screening Officers, Operations Centre, Compliance, and Training Departments to ensure seamless collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Be the eyes and ears on the floor for the Senior Leadership Team, providing real-time insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.




  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including CATSA and Union representatives, to build and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with Paladin's CARE culture.




  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, develop and implement strategies to address gaps, and drive sustainable results.




  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to Operations Managers, focusing on talent development, performance management, and succession planning.




  • Stay up-to-date with aviation industry regulations and standards, ensuring compliance and recommending process improvements to maintain operational excellence.




Requirements



  • Minimum of 7 years of management experience, with a proven track record of leading large workforces and driving results.
  • Previous experience managing unionized employees is an asset.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills, with the ability to navigate complex conversations and build consensus.
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions in real-time, with a focus on driving business outcomes.
  • Previous experience in aviation security or a related field is required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to acquire Transportation Security Clearance (TSC).
