The Opportunity

Perimeter Institute seeks a seasoned professional to lead its advancement effort in developing and executing a strategic plan for private funding. The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer and be responsible for diversifying the donor base, building ongoing donor engagement, and deepening internal coordination.

About the Role

The Chief Advancement Officer will have a direct impact on Perimeter Institute's ability to advance diversity in the sciences and bring together the world's most brilliant minds to achieve scientific breakthroughs. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of securing private funding and a deep understanding of the Institute's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a strategic plan for private funding
  2. Diversify the donor base and build ongoing donor engagement
  3. Deepen internal coordination and capacity to deliver at the highest levels

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong background in fundraising, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the Institute's mission and goals.
