**Job Summary**

Waapihk Research, a consulting firm, is seeking a Client Relationship Coordinator to join their team in either Winnipeg or Montreal. This role focuses on engaging with potential clients nationwide, identifying new opportunities, and fostering connections with organizations that could benefit from Waapihk's unique services.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Familiarize yourself with Waapihk Research's range of services.
  • Understand the diverse contexts in which our clients operate.
  • Scout for potential client organizations and partnerships across Canada.
  • Assist in kickstarting conversations between clients and the Principal.
  • Collaborate with the Research Team to refine our offerings.
  • Help spot and nurture long-term business prospects.
  • Maintain our CRM pipeline updated and organized.

**Requirements**

  • A bachelor's degree in epidemiology, statistics, biostatistics, health and research methodology, or a related field is required. Equivalent experience demonstrating a grasp of basic statistics will also be considered.
  • First-hand experience living in Indigenous communities or direct work with Canadian Indigenous populations.
  • Familiarity with Indigenous self-governance, data governance, and health transformation reform.
  • Previous involvement with Indigenous and northern communities on various matters.
  • Some background in business-to-business account development or management.
  • Experience in a fast-paced customer service role.
  • Handling sensitive material with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficient with MS Office and open to learning qualitative data software.
  • Bonus if you can communicate in an Indigenous language.
  • A graduate degree in a related field is a plus.
