Strategic Branch Manager Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Branch Manager Lead to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada.
About the RoleThe Strategic Branch Manager Lead will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the branch, ensuring overall profitability while meeting strategic targets through sales management, human resource management, operations control, and supervision of compliance. This role requires effective leadership and support to Investment Advisors and support staff in hiring, training, and motivating them to achieve their best performance.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily compliance issues and responsibilities, providing effective communication through regular meetings with the team.
- Engage in high-performance coaching with each Investment Advisor to ensure they meet their goals and objectives.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring opportunities to the Branch Administrator to help them succeed in their role.
- Motivate employees to achieve their full potential by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
- Improve the working environment within the branch by actively seeking employee feedback and suggestions.
- Solve complex problems effectively, looking beyond the obvious and finding creative solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in retail brokerage or a related field.
- Post-secondary education (college or university).
- CSC and CPH designations, with the ability to complete BM licensing within 3 months.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple priorities and dealing with complex situations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
