Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Tim Hortons (Brooks 4004). As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Hire food service staff.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports.
  • Establish work schedules.

Work Environment: This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be working under pressure and will need to be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
