Position Overview: The Vice President of B2B Sales will report directly to the Vice President and General Manager of International. This role is pivotal in orchestrating, managing, and leading all sales initiatives within the Canadian Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Sales team, as well as overseeing Acuity's Canadian agency network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies aimed at maximizing sales volume for our innovative products and services.
  • Lead the Canadian sales team, which includes Specification and Distribution sales representatives, along with National Account sellers.
  • Enhance the C&I sales channel by effectively managing the Canadian agency network, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and strategies to meet sales objectives.
  • Develop and implement market and target customer strategies in collaboration with the Sales Leadership team.
  • Maintain and strengthen key customer relationships while devising strategies to increase market penetration.
  • Inspire and motivate the sales and agency teams to achieve established sales goals and initiatives.
  • Oversee the sales process, establishing metrics for effective sales pipeline management.
  • Utilize enterprise tools to enhance processes and boost sales force efficiency.
  • Manage recruitment, hiring, and development of the sales organization.
  • Implement promotional and marketing initiatives through the network to achieve distribution goals.

Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of effective sales leadership and performance in the lighting or electrical industry.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, such as SalesForce.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
