Position Overview: The Vice President of B2B Sales will report directly to the Vice President and General Manager of International, collaborating closely with the Canadian and U.S. sales teams. This role is pivotal in overseeing the comprehensive coordination, management, and leadership of all sales activities within our Canadian Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Sales team and Acuity's Canadian agency network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize product and service sales volume.
  • Design and execute a robust sales plan that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Lead a diverse Canadian sales team, including Specification and Distribution sales, as well as National Account sellers.
  • Enhance the C&I sales channel by effectively managing the Canadian agency network, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and strategies to meet sales objectives.
  • Establish market and target customer strategies in collaboration with the Sales Leadership team.
  • Maintain and nurture key customer relationships, developing strategies to increase market penetration.
  • Inspire and motivate sales and agency teams to achieve sales targets and initiatives.
  • Oversee the sales process, setting metrics for effective sales pipeline management.
  • Utilize enterprise tools to streamline processes and enhance sales force efficiency.
  • Manage recruitment, hiring, and development of the sales organization.
  • Implement promotional and marketing initiatives through the network to achieve distribution goals.

Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of effective sales leadership with at least 10 years of experience in the lighting or electrical industry.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience with CRM tools, particularly SalesForce.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess problems and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
