Position Overview: The Vice President of B2B Sales is a pivotal role within Acuity Brands Lighting, Inc., responsible for steering the sales efforts of our Canadian Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Sales team. This position entails comprehensive leadership and strategic oversight of all sales activities, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Canadian sales team, which includes Specification and Distribution sales, as well as National Account representatives.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies aimed at maximizing revenue and market penetration.
- Foster strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to enhance market presence.
- Guide and support the Canadian agency network, equipping them with necessary tools and strategies for success.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of the sales organization to build a high-performing team.
- Utilize enterprise tools to enhance sales processes and improve overall effectiveness.
- Establish metrics for sales pipeline management and monitor performance against targets.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the lighting or electrical industry.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, particularly SalesForce.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
