About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Operations Specialist to join our team at NAIT. As a key member of our Academic Operations department, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of strategic operational processes and practices across our Schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and synthesize complex information from various sources to generate actionable recommendations for operational improvements.
  • Provide strategic advice and consulting services to Schools on portfolio operations, including strategic enrollment planning, resource planning, staff planning, space planning, capital resourcing, tuition setting, and budget creation.
  • Lead and prepare resourcing processes to support the development and implementation of operational strategies and processes.
  • Collaborate with academic program leaders to implement operational strategies and processes that promote consistency and accountability.
  • Assist with planning and implementing strategic enrollment initiatives to support student success and program growth.
  • Collaborate with FMD/Space Planning teams to align capital resourcing and ensure effective use of resources.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of academic operations' year-over-year critical path.
  • Coordinate with Program Chairs, staff, and administrative functions to create smooth operational workflows.
  • Monitor progress and adjust operational plans to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Support the administrative and resourcing components of program development, including market research, feasibility studies, and curriculum planning.
Requirements
  • Related post-secondary diploma (i.e. Business)
  • Minimum 3 years related experience
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
