About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Operations Specialist to join our team at NAIT. As a key member of our Academic Operations department, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of strategic operational processes and practices across our Schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and synthesize complex information from various sources to generate actionable recommendations for operational improvements.
  • Advise and consult with academic program leaders on strategy development related to portfolio operations.
  • Lead and prepare resourcing processes to support the implementation of operational strategies.
  • Collaborate with the work unit to implement principles and strategies for consistency and accountability.
  • Collaborate with academic program leaders on operational strategies and processes.
  • Assist with planning and implementing strategic enrollment initiatives.
  • Collaborate with FMD/Space Planning teams to align capital resourcing.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of academic operations' year-over-year critical path.
  • Coordinate with Program Chairs, staff, and administrative functions to create smooth operational workflows.
  • Monitor progress and adjust operational plans as needed.
  • Support the administrative and resourcing components of program development.
  • Act as Academic Operations subject matter expert, supporting the development and launch of new academic programs.
Requirements
  • Related post-secondary diploma (i.e. Business)
  • Minimum 3 years related experience
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
