About the Role

This Academic Operations Specialist position plays a crucial role in supporting Schools at NAIT in implementing consistent sustainable operational processes and practices. The successful candidate will work closely with Associate Deans, AQOE's Academic Operations department, and other central departments to ensure effective operations decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and synthesizing information from various sources to generate sustainable and actionable recommendations
  • Advising on strategy development related to portfolio operations
  • Leading and preparing resourcing processes
  • Collaborating with academic program leaders on operational strategies and processes
  • Assisting with planning and implementing strategic enrollment initiatives
  • Collaborating with FMD/Space Planning teams to align capital resourcing
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of academic operations' year-over-year critical path
  • Coordinating with Program Chairs, staff, and administrative functions to create smooth operational workflows
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting operational plans
  • Supporting the administrative and resourcing components of program development

Requirements

  • Related post-secondary diploma (i.e. Business)
  • Minimum 3 years related experience
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
