Job Summary

The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
  • Operations Management: Evaluate daily operations, monitor staff performance, and plan and organize daily operations.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including setting work schedules and conducting performance reviews.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, address customer complaints, and ensure that health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, including negotiating with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
