Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Empress of India Restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining establishment, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of quality in our food and beverage offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Staff Supervision: Conduct performance reviews, negotiate arrangements with suppliers, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Marketing and Sales: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, handle customer complaints, and ensure a positive dining experience.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
