About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Shell Canada. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store is running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and train a team of sales workers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Manage Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and lead by example, setting high standards for customer service and store appearance.
  • Resolve Issues: Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and employee conflicts.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to ensure the store is running efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Work Setting: Retail business.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, team player, and dependability.
