Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and train a team of sales workers, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Assign sales workers to duties such as operating the cash register, restocking shelves, and maintaining the store's appearance.
- Hire and Train New Staff: Hire and train new staff members, ensuring that they are equipped to handle the demands of the role.
- Authorize Payments and Merchandise Returns: Authorize payments by cheque and returns of merchandise, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and compliant with company policies.
- Order and Maintain Inventory: Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that the store is always stocked with the products our customers need.
- Prepare Sales Reports: Prepare sales reports, highlighting areas of success and areas for improvement.
- Resolve Customer Issues: Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their experience.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and stand for extended periods.
