We are seeking a skilled Health Care Aide to join our team at Riverview Health Centre.
About the RoleThis is a dynamic opportunity for a dedicated individual to provide high-quality patient care and support as part of our interdisciplinary health care team.
Responsibilities- Assist patients with daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity.
- Provide basic supportive services, following established protocols and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies.
- Grade X diploma or equivalent.
- Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized institution required.
- 1 year previous experience in providing rehabilitative, long-term care or chronic care to patients/residents preferred.
- Knowledge of basic nursing care principles, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and mobilize patients safely, using appropriate techniques.
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
The successful candidate will be required to work safely without injury to self, patients/residents, or other staff members. The physical and mental demands of this role require strong stamina and attention to detail.
What We OfferRiverview Health Centre offers a competitive salary range of $52,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. This position also includes comprehensive benefits, including extended health and dental coverage, pension plan, and generous vacation time.
