Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Philthy Philly's Cheesesteak & Poutinerie. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high-quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking methods to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with our management team to develop and implement new menu items, promotions, and events.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a chef or kitchen manager in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
