We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Commercial Insurance team in Medicine Hat, AB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales and service excellence, while ensuring the effective operation of the branch.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of insurance professionals to achieve sales and service targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and profitability in the Commercial Insurance segment.
- Collaborate with other Branch Managers to ensure consistent quality of service and sales.
- Accountable for overall staffing and leadership of the team, including succession planning and talent development.
- Responsible for the general administration of the team, including IT, payroll, hiring, and human resource management.
- Post-secondary education in a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant work experience in insurance, preferably in Commercial lines.
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Insurance designation (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or AIIC, RIBO, or AIC Level 2).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal and credit background check.
