Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team at Great Canadian Gaming Corporation. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for delivering effective HR management practices and overseeing the implementation of company-wide human resources/talent management programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to the HR team, as well as implement HR strategic plans as directed.
  • Offer HR advice and support to managers and team members.
  • Manage programs such as OH&S, recruitment, attendance, on-site orientations, and leave of absence files.
  • Lead investigations into team member relations matters and support management through involuntary termination processes.
  • Facilitate coaching sessions, provide input for conflict resolution, and assist with training implementations and deliveries.
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including senior management, management, and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma; post-secondary education in HR or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • HR designation an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources; 3 years in management.
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and JDE; HRIS experience an asset.
  • Ability to successfully obtain a gaming license.
Work Environment

Regular office and casino environment, non-traditional work hours may be required in certain circumstances, some travel may be required.
