About Harris Leadership Strategies
Harris Leadership Strategies seeks an accomplished Executive Director to lead and grow Project ASPIRE, a comprehensive Sustainable Protein Strategy initiative. Reporting to the Vice President of CME, Manitoba, the successful candidate will take full ownership of the project, utilizing CME's resources and network to drive internal and external functions, including leadership, strategy, communications, community engagement, and data-information.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive project growth, lead activities, and oversee internal systems and staff, identifying capacity and competency gaps.
- Maintain a contextual understanding of implementation challenges and develop comprehensive solutions.
- Establish and track outcomes and indicators across the initiative, using results to inform learning and continuous improvement.
- Ensure effective communications, including website, to attract new stakeholders to the movement.
- Participate in relevant networks and stakeholder engagement.
Selection Criteria
- 10+ years of senior experience, with at least 3 years' experience managing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic non-profit, social enterprise, or business environment.
- Degree in business, economics, policy, agriculture, sustainability, or related discipline.
- Resourceful self-starter with proven experience building and leading collaborative teams and generating growth.
- Skilled in agile project management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of sustainability, with experience in a related field, and a working knowledge of agricultural and food systems.
- Strong communication, stakeholder relations, and networking skills, and experience securing funding.
