Job Title: Payroll Officer

Elqueena Support Services Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining employee records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll transactions, including calculating salaries, deductions, and benefits
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including attendance, leave, and overtime
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports, including T4 statements and other required documents
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees and management, addressing payroll-related inquiries and concerns
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration or human resources
  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in payroll administration or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software, including ADP, QuickBooks, and Simply Accounting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail
